these sketches are inspired by "Qari'at al finjan" an amazing old song for Abdulhaleem Hafiz the Egyptian legend, he is an old singer was very famous in the 50's or 60's until now he's number one to a lot of people. 
the sketches are combining lyrics from the song, and something i always say when things go wrong "il fingan itdala'a alaya"

ALexey Brodovitch was a Russian born photographer, designer and instructor who is most famous for his art direction of fashion magazine Harper Bazaar from 1938 to 1958. ok .. im done with wikipedia research .. let me get to the point, I am officially in love with this fashion photographer his style his work and that whole era !

 
so I decided to make a belt inspired somehow by his work !!

Italy is different, they start everything with an artistic point of view, they pay so much attention to all the details. Their buldings are just perfect, Clothes are amazing, Design in all its divisions are well observed, their shops and stores are just great and lets not forget their IceCream stores.

These Spreads are taken from spring’s must-haves for Vogue Nippon’s March 2011 issue. The editorial is classic Dello Russo.  Big color, big hair, and a playful approach to fashion.

Vintage Inspires me .. "Balady" and "Home & beyond" are two amazing vintage stores, they're both located in Almansour Mohammed, Zamalik, Cairo. their products are all vintage inspired by old Egyptian actors, singers, kings and for sure movies. whats so interesting that their products "candles, bags, sketchbooks, posters, post cards, rings, earnings, tables, tea sets, old original huge movies' ads *أفيشات* are 100% hand-made :) If anyone goes to Cairo its a must to go to these places! im sure there's much more i dont know about.. simply because its Cairo:)
